This
play of light and shadow, the most ancient of all the puppet arts, tells the
classic Just-So story of Rudyard Kipling. Inspired by traditional paintings
of north-east India, these moving shadows beautifully re-create the story
of the time when the world was young, and woman tamed man, dog, horse and
cow but . . . did she tame cat?
Narrated with gentle humour, this magical performance is created using simple
technology and will entrance all those over the age of six.
'A really beautiful show. The audience was entranced!' - Jane Corry, Norden Farm Arts Centre
"The
puppets were undeniably beautifully drawn and cut, especially those that used
black, white and greys and they were a pleasure to watch." - Bob Frith,
Horse and Bamboo
